None on Record: Stories of Queer Africa is a sound documentary project that collects the stories of queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (QLGBT) Africans from the African Continent and the Diaspora. None on Record adds to the growing histories told by QLGBT Africans all over the world. QLGBT Africans are everywhere—within the neighborhoods of Dakar, Toronto, Nairobi, New York City and London and in the small towns and villages of African countries.

New Interviews From Senegal

None on Record teamed up with the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) to produce new audio interviews from Senegal. Using testimonies from activists, former detainees and others, four new stories powerfully describe life in Senegal for the LGBT community.

Join None on Record for a panel discussion of LGBT rights in Senegal and the debut of our new interviews in conjunction with IGLHRC’s  report, Words of Hate, Climate of Fear: Human Rights Violations and challenges to the LGBT Movement in Senegal.
